Renjini Joseph MSW,RSW
Registered Social Worker -she/her/her’s
Life is hard. As human beings we need connection and are not meant to navigate life alone. I feel privileged to support people as they walk through life’s difficult times. I approach work holistically, using a “wellness” model (as opposed to an “illness” model) which highlights and encourages client’s strengths, supporting them through thoughts and feelings in a safe environment, and to find strategies to help them cope with difficult situations. I have worked in government social service settings for the past 11 years supporting children in care , adolescents, families, and individuals experiencing a range of concerns.
As a counsellor, I will not tell you what to do but rather, will work with you to find a strategy that may help you to improve your situation. I can communicate in Malayalam and Hindi (two different languages used by the South Asian Community)
