Ed graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy with Distinction. For more than 25 years, he has dedicated himself to guiding and assisting his clients’ return to work, to sport, or any activity that physical injury was preventing them from enjoying. Ed’s focus is unwaveringly on the needs of his clients. While some people attend physio with a clear goal in mind, many do not: Ed’s strength is in his ability to listen to his clients thus helping them set reachable goals, and achieve successful outcomes.

Ed has advanced expertise and training in treating concussion, a wide variety of acute injuries, repetitive strain injuries, and stubborn chronic problems that don’t seem to want to go away. He is also skilled in developing post-surgical rehabilitation programs, and running programs to prevent injury.

While Ed believes in continuous learning and research, he also understands that a client knows their body best and an integral part of the client-therapist relationship is communication and developing a relationship where both parties openly share information and complete their assigned tasks.

Treatments usually involve various manual therapy techniques, individualized exercise programs, and
instruction in pain management techniques to help you get back to what you love to do, pain free and
stronger than ever.

It’s true that active people make the best physiotherapists. Outside of the clinic, Ed maintains an active lifestyle with a passion for the outdoors, golf, rugby, soccer, running, hiking, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. His participation in these sports and many others, gives him a strong insight into the unique needs of each athlete.
