Katie is passionate about journeying alongside people as they work through challenges and take new and exciting steps toward change. Her approach to therapy involves the use of Narrative Therapy while also integrating Solution-Focused Therapy, Feminist Therapy, as well as self-compassion and mindfulness practices. When meeting with Katie, you can expect genuineness, empathy, and laughter as Katie strives to create a safe and comfortable space where you can share your stories of both pain and joy and move forward in creating new stories that align with your values and hopes in life.
Katie has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of the Fraser Valley and is a Registered Clinical Counselor (RCC) and a Registered Social Worker (RSW). Katie offers counselling in the following areas:

- Body Image and Self Esteem
- Couple Therapy
In her spare time, Katie enjoys reading a good book, baking something delicious that usually includes chocolate, and connecting with friends and family. She has a husband and a young daughter who is very busy and gets the majority of Katie’s attention these days.
