Alex graduated with honours from VCMT’s 3000-hour program in August 2022. His journey first began at the University of Fraser Valley where he intended to major in English rhetoric and composition but found his interest in human physiology and biology. He desired a career where he could use his hands and apply his mind and found that in massage therapy, discovering as well that he loved being one on one with his patients.
Alex believes in treatments and techniques that are curated to his patients and their needs. While trained in various modalities, his approach includes—but not limited to—Swedish, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, and neuromuscular techniques; hence, he has seen great benefits when these techniques are used correctly and applied to the indicated areas.
Away from work, Alex loves to read classical and modern literature, philosophy, and poetry. He enjoys exercises using plyometrics, calisthenics, and weighted workouts. He’s affable and loves conversation, always prioritizing quality time with family and friends.
In the future, Alex hopes to continue his education in muscle energy techniques, Bowen therapy, Craniosacral, and Osteopathy.
